DENI MARRONE
ACRYLIC POUR PAINTING
“Acrylic Pour Painting”
This unusual technique was discovered by accident nearly a century ago and has been rediscovered on purpose in recent times. It’s what happens when science and nature unite. It is extremely fluid and spontaneous, not to mention messy. Allowing for an almost immediate outcome, it gives us the ability to be both creative and prolific. In physics, it is referred to as fluid dynamics. Depending on the density or viscosity of a particular liquid {paints and mediums}, they will either converge or repel one another. Upon a variety of ways in which they can be applied to the surface, it is then up to the artists hands and imagination as to the final outcome. The possibilities are endless.
