Acrylic Painting

"The smell of turpentine always reminds me of Grandpa Wolter’s oil painting studio."

I am a self-taught acrylic painter, typically using only 4 colors in each painting. A recent powerful depression led me to spend hours painting at the ocean, immersing myself in the colors of the water on different days and times. I was fascinated by the dynamic sunlight and shadows cast by the waves and the interaction between the ocean and the sand. I also enjoy painting the cows, oak trees, and animals in and around Bodega. I lives in Sebastopol with her family, dogs, guinea pigs, and chickens.
